Rita Anuku was an ex - miss Nigeria and younger sister to Nollywood actor Hank Anuku passed away yesterday 2nd July 2015 at an undisclosed Abuja hospital. The family of Rita Anuku, the 1986 Miss Nigerian has released a statement that the beauty queen passed away this morning, July 2nd at an undisclosed Abuja hospital.
According to a family statement, Rita was battling with cancer for the past 2 years. Rita is also the first cousin of Hon. David Anuku, former commissioner of Special Duties in Delta State. She is survived by 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy.
