Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure was arrested for over speeding with his Porsche 911 according to the The Sun. Yaya was speeding along a motorway in Manchester at over 124mph.
He was stopped by patrol policemen on the M6 in Staffordshire on Wednesday night. The Ivorian could face a ban.
Just Last week Toure’s brother Kolo Toure and his Liverpool team-mate Mario Balotelli were also caught for speeding.
Yaya told the officers that caught him: “Don’t worry, someone at the club will sort this out. They will get all the paperwork”. Police in Staffordshire confirmed the incidence in a statement: “At around 8.40pm on Wednesday 20 May, officers stopped a vehicle travelling at 124mph on the northbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 15 and 16.
“The driver, a 32-year-old man from Cheshire, will be reported for summons to appear at court on a future date.”
A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: “At around 8.40pm on Wednesday 20 May, officers stopped a vehicle travelling at 124mph on the northbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 15 and 16.
